QuickFixer – Terms of Service

Welcome to QuickFixer! These terms outline the agreement and mutual promises between you (our “Client”) and us (“QuickFixer,” “we,” “our”) when you use our services (our “Services”).

Please read these terms carefully. By requesting or using our Services, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Our Services

QuickFixer provides professional repair, maintenance, and small-to-medium renovation services for homes and businesses in the Greater Lisbon Area. Our goal is to solve your problems with expertise, transparency, and respect for your time.

2. Quotes, Scheduling, and Payments

  • Quotes: All quotes we provide are 100% free and without obligation. The quote is our honest assessment of the work required based on the information you provide.
  • Approval: We only begin work after you have seen and explicitly approved the quote. The price we agree upon is the price you pay. Any potential changes due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated and approved by you before we proceed.
  • Payment: We will never ask for payment before a service is confirmed and agreed upon. Payment terms will be clearly stated in your quote.
  • Urgent Service Fee: We offer a priority service for urgent requests requiring a solution in under 24 hours. This service has an additional fee of 20%, which will always be clearly stated in your quote for your approval. Acceptance of urgent requests is subject to team availability.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed service, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover our logistical costs.

4. Our Commitment to Quality (Our “Warranty”)

Unlike many services that are provided “AS IS,” we stand by the quality of our work.

  • We commit to performing all services with professionalism, using high-quality materials and techniques based on over 20 years of experience.
  • If you believe a service was not performed correctly, please contact us immediately. We are committed to investigating the issue and, if the fault is determined to be with our workmanship, we will work with you to find a fair and reasonable solution.
  • This commitment does not cover issues arising from pre-existing conditions we were not asked to address, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

5. Your Responsibilities as a Client

To help us provide the best possible service, we ask that you:

  • Provide a safe and clear working environment for our technicians.
  • Provide accurate information about the problem when requesting a quote.
  • Inform us of any known issues, such as specific plumbing or electrical situations, that might affect the work.

6. Intellectual Property

The QuickFixer name, logo, website content, and all original text and images are the intellectual property of QuickFixer. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (like our social media pages) or use third-party tools (like scheduling or payment software). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third parties. Your use of any Third-Party Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickFixer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services. Our total liability to you for any damages will be limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.

9. Our Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions or abusive behavior towards our team.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement and any disputes arising from it will be governed by the laws of Portugal. The proper venue for any disputes will be the courts located in Lisbon, Portugal.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify our clients by posting the new terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
